Ed Sheeran ,I see Fire

This post is about my experience for the first time at the première

international Italian wine show and competition called "Vinitaly".

It takes place in a beautiful city Verona every year in April!

Here are some shoots of the event ,taken by me and Lucy! 

Our journey began right from the most important pavilion

of the fair and a chance to  taste  some incredible vintage wines

from Berlucchi ,Ca' del Bosco..

both from the famous region in Lombardia,In Franciacorta.

Followed by short visit to  Sicilian wines in another stand.

I'm a moderate social drinker and I enjoy good wine every once in a while ! 

Of course during the degustation small sips are recommended :P otherwise

you just get drunk :D,so I kept a moderate pace ;) 

Meanwhile visiting and tasting, we had an invitation for the evening to take a tour

in the wine production place itself in the evening in Franciacorta and of course

we  couldnt refuse that occasion! So we drove all the way approximately 80 km from

Verona to Franciacorta.

A twist of adventure is always welcome!

We were taken to a fantastic tour in dark barrique wine cellars and to see all the production area 

followed by aperitivo in Cupola with

*Franciacorta Dosage Zéro 2000  

The dinner after the tour was presented by 

Andrea Migliaccio,an executive chef from the "Hotel Capri Palace".

Not to mention the millesimato vintage wine collection degustation during the dinner

which was beyond everything!

so here is what I tasted :  

* Franciacorta Vintage Collection Brut 2008

* Franciacorta Cuvée Annamaria Clementi 2005

* Franciacorta Cuvée Annamaria Clementi Rosé 2005 ( my favorite one)

As well I had a chance to ask from some experts how to 

properly taste and understand  the wine ! 

It was such a memorable day and experience !
